I will praise you, Lord among the nations; I will sing of you among the peoples. Psalm 57:9

Dear Prayer Supporters,
Thanks so much for the gifts you gave to the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering last month. It’s been a great encouragement to hear how individuals and churches have given so generously to this annual missions offering which is used to support us here on the field. Pray that we would be good stewards of the resources that have been provided through this offering.

We’ve enjoyed a wonderful holiday season. For the first time in five years, we enjoyed celebrating Christmas with both our children and my (Kimberly’s) mom. We have several important dates that we need prayer for in January. We appreciate you bringing them before the Father.

Jan. 2nd-Jan. 6th Pray for Caleb as he returns to high school this week after Christmas break. Pray that he will improve his study habits and to always do his best. Pray that he would “work as for the Lord and not for man.”
Jan. 3rd Caroline has joined us in Richmond and has already applied for several jobs in the area. Pray that she would find employment that would utilize her gifts and abilities.

Jan. 4th As we seek to maintain communication with our national partners in Niger, we are greatly encouraged to hear of new outreach groups being formed and believers being baptized in the areas where Pastor “B” and his team have been working. Pray for these new groups and new believers that their faith in God and knowledge of the scriptures would grow. Pray that these outreach groups will become strong, healthy churches that have a lasting impact on the Zerma people, through the grace of God.

Jan. 9th—Jan. 13th
Today is the first Stateside Conference of the year for missionaries to debrief while they are in the US. Pray for them as they meet and worship and process events that occurred on the field. Pray for Phil and Kimberly as they meet with these missionaries for prayer and encouragement.

Jan. 17th—Jan. 20th Phil and Kimberly will be attending a Missions College to learn more about training and partnering with churches interested in missions trips and training.

Jan. 23rd –Jan. 31st
Today is the beginning of nine weeks of orientation for IMB missionaries at the International Learning Center. Pray for Phil and Kimberly as they assist with this training and serve as advisors for those going to Sub-Saharan Africa.

Jan. 30th
Pray for Phil as he travels over the next couple weeks, first to Malawi to visit some of our personnel there and then on to South Africa for meetings with our leadership team.

Jan. 31st
Pray for Kimberly as she continues to work with the new missionaries while Phil is traveling.

Thanks for your prayers! They make such a difference to the Zerma and to us!
