Dear Prayer Supporters,
Thank you so much for your faithful prayers each month! They are deeply appreciated. James 5:16(NLT) says that the earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results. Your prayers for the Zerma people and for our family are accomplishing great things! We want to highlight a few dates for you to be earnestly praying for this month.

Jan. 30-Feb. 10 Pray for Phil as he will be traveling back to Africa during this time to attend leadership meetings and visit two countries—one of which he has never been to before. Pray for safety in travel. He will be visiting a country that a young family we’re working with is going to and bringing back helpful information for them as they prepare to arrive in March.

Jan. 30-Feb.10 Pray for Kimberly as she continues to work with the new missionaries at orientation while Phil is traveling. Pray for stamina, clear communication skills, and insight and wisdom as she encourages and works with these new personnel.

Feb. 1 Pray for the two young couples and their 6 children going to Sub-Saharan Africa. Pray for them as they will learning a lot of helpful information over the next couple of months. Pray for their spiritual and physical health.

Feb. 2 Kimberly will be leading the Sub-Sahara Africa Affinity group time and the Affinity group lunch today. Pray for her as she communicates valuable information and for a fun and productive time for all involved.

Feb. 8 Pray for Kimberly as she teaches the Worldview Workshop on Animism today. Pray that she will communicate clearly the information that the new missionaries need to know and that is will be beneficial to their time on the field.

Feb. 14 Pray for the second Affinity meeting and lunch time. Pray for Phil and Kimberly and the two couples as they fellowship and learn together.

Feb. 15 Thank you for praying for Caroline. She has been on several job interviews and is diligently submitting applications. Pray that God would clearly open the door to a job that uses her gifts and abilities.

Feb. 16 Caleb has his learning permit and begins driver’s education this semester at high school. Pray for safety and for competency as he learns to navigate Richmond traffic.

Feb. 20 Pray for the Zerma church in the “G” neighborhood. Pray for those who are seeking God to be bold and come to church to hear the Good News. Pray for God to transform that area in to one that reflects His glory among the Zerma.

Feb. 22 Pray for Sahel Academy as they are in need of many teachers and positions for the 2017-2018 school year. Pray for those who are hearing a call to go and teach to be obedient to that call. Find out more information at

Feb. 24 Pray for God’s spirit to move among the hearts and minds of those who have heard the Good News among the Zerma and for many to come to Christ.
