December 2 Pray for the Zerma who have heard the gospel this past year. Pray that they would be obedient to the truth of God’s love for them.

December 3 Pray for April, Melanie, and Terra as they are wrapping up their time in Niger. Pray for all the lives they’ve touched and for the many children, men, and women they have shared the Good News with. Pray for the Holy Spirit to grow the seeds they’ve planted and that there would be an abundant harvest among the Zerma in the “D” town area.

December 4 The IMB has started a campaign on social media called “Miss A Meal: #ForTheMission.” It’s simple: you skip a meal, donate $10 to the IMB in place of the cost of your meal, snap a photo of yourself with an empty plate & post it on social media with the hashtag & an explanation of why you’re missing a meal. It’s a very simple & easy way to give & to promote donating to the IMB. For more information visit www.imb.org.

December 5 Thank you for keeping the “D” town ladies in your prayers, please be praying for their last week in “D” town. Pray that it would be filled with opportunity and that they would be wise in discerning what they should do.

December 6 We are so thankful for Terra and Melanie's work in Dosso, they were an answer to many of your prayers. Pray that the Lord would continue to use their time for His glory even in their absence.

December 7 Phil and other leaders from the IMB will be attending meetings this week in Niamey. Pray for their time together, that it would be encouraging and that God will give them wisdom and discernment and vision for how they can be effective in sharing the gospel and planting churches among unreached people groups across West Africa.

December 8 Pray for Melanie and Terra as they are leaving Niger today. They have completed their Hands On assignment. Pray for their debriefing meetings and for the transition back to life in the states.

December 9 Thank you for all the birthday cards you sent to Caroline for her birthday at the end of November. She loved them and it was such an encouragement for her!

December 10 Please pray for the people that are in “D” town. Pray that they would continue to seek the Father and desire a relationship with Him.

December 11 We yearn to see God’s glory displayed among the Zerma, with thriving churches and followers of Jesus who are full of the joy of the Lord. Pray that He will raise up a generation of Zerma Christians who understand the times and what they must do, who will shine the light of Christ across Niger and beyond, to the nations.

December 12 Pray that God would lead us to those with receptive hearts and give us the ability to communicate clearly the Good News of salvation through Jesus.

December 13 Lift up the mothers whose children attend kids clubs. Pray for the mothers who have been coming to kids clubs. There have been several mothers coming to listen to the Bible stories with the children. Pray that they will hear and understand the stories and be drawn to a relationship with God through Jesus.

December 14 Praise God for Grace and her wonderful contributions to our guesthouse and so much more! Grace is helping lead a teen girl Bible study for Sahel students, helping Kimberly with kids clubs, and so much more. Pray for her to have wisdom and discernment to know what to do after this coming January.

December 15 We’ve been greatly encouraged to see at least twenty-five people place their faith in Christ through Pastor “B’s” ministry over the past several months. Pray that their faith will be strengthened, even as it is tested. Pray that they will have a hunger for God’s word and a desire to know and do His will. Pray that they will be bold in sharing their faith with others.

December 16 Pray for April as she travels back to America today, pray for safe travels and a sweet reunion with her family.

December 17 Did you know the Lottie Moon Christmas offering funds missionary housing, medical care, children’s education, field transportation, and ministry expenses? 100% of the offering funds these items so that missionaries can shatter the silence for those who have never heard the gospel. December 18 Pray for the government leaders of Niger; that God would grant them wisdom and courage to make wise decisions for the benefit of this country.

December 19 Pray for Phil as continues to fill in as Logistics Coordinator. There are many details to take care of as he serves in this role: missionary housing, cars, car repairs, business expense reports, etc. Pray for him to continue to manage many details well. Your prayers are making a difference!

December 20 Thank you for contributing shoe boxes to operation Christmas Child, we have been blessed to see the benefit of their distribution the last 2 years in the region that April, Melanie and Terra live.

December 21 Happy Birthday, Kimberly Cain! Thank you for your prayers over these many years for Kimberly and her family. Pray that God would encourage, strengthen, and bless her with much joy today and in the coming year.

December 22 Pray for our relationship with God, that we would have a close, daily walk with Him. Pray that we would know the power of the Holy Spirit, that we would have victory over sin, and that we would have a hunger for God's Word. Pray that we would make personal prayer time a priority in our daily lives.

December 23 Could God be calling you to come and teach and work at Sahel Academy? There are many priority needs for the 2014-2015 coming school year: Director, Business Manager, Accountant, Youth Pastor, Special Education Teacher, and Dorm Administrator. Pray that these positions would be filled to help the school best serve the students of Sahel Academy.

December 24 Pray for Caleb as he helps with a kids club in a neighborhood far from home. Pray that his faithful service would be a testimony to the children who attend.

December 25 Merry Christmas! In the midst of family celebrations and the busyness of the season, may we all find time to remember and celebrate the birth of Jesus—Emmanuel, God is with us!

December 26 Pray for rest for the Cains during this time when school is out. Pray for some fun family times together and taking advantage of some needed relaxation opportunities.

December 27 Pray for the health of the Zerma people. Cool season is a time when many are ill due to colds and other illnesses. Pray for us as we are often sick as well.

December 28 Pray for Pastor Amadou and Hassi as they operate a small boutique to provide their family with income. Praise God that they run it on Christian principles. Pray for many opportunities to share with those who come to the store to buy daily staples.

December 29 Happy 24th wedding anniversary to Phil and Kimberly Cain! Pray for their marriage to continue to grow deeper and stronger. Pray for them to effectively communicate and demonstrate a Godly marriage to their family, friends, and to the Zerma.

December 30 Praise God for the great missionary community we are enriched and blessed with in Niger! The body of Christ is a beautiful thing. Pray for encouragement and strength for the daily task!

December 31 IMB Missionaries and their ministry partners communicated the Gospel to more than 1.6 million people, led more than 235,000 people to faith in Christ, baptized more than 114,000 new believers and started thousands of churches and believer groups that will become churches, according to IMB's 2013 annual statistical report (reflecting 2012 year-end statistics). Praise God for His faithfulness! Pray that even more people will have the opportunity to hear about and come to saving knowledge in Christ in 2015!
