“Look and be amazed at what's happening
among the nations! Even if you were told, you would never believe
what's taking place
now.” Habakkuk 1:5

for our friends and neighbors this past month during Ramadan. We
know that many of them heard the Gospel. Continue to pray that
they would heed the call of God to trust in Jesus for their salvation.
September 2, 2011 – Praise God for the wonderful
kids’ camps this summer. Between 90 and 100 children heard
about God’s plan for their lives, from creation to Jesus’ death
and resurrection. There were definitely times every day during
the Bible story that you could see God at work on the hearts and
minds of these precious children. Thank you for your prayers!
September 3, 2011 – Continue to pray for the children
that come to the weekly Kids’ Clubs. There are many new children
that are attending because of the camps this summer. Pray that
God would draw these families closer to himself and that many would
decide to follow Jesus. Pray every Saturday for the two Kid’s

in the village of “D” that they would stand firm in
their faith and grow in their knowledge of the Savior. In June

understand and speak the Zarma language, along with insight into
the culture, would continue to increase so that we might be more
effective communicators of the Gospel among the Zerma.

elders. Zerma families usually take total care of elder parents

is given all elderly people. Please also pray for missionary parents
and the difficulty encountered in assisting with aging family members
via long distance.
September 12, 2011 – Pray for Zerma people who live
outside their normal boundaries in various countries around the
world including the U.S. Pray for a Zerma man from Niger that is
working in the U.S. God worked it out so that Bolls have already
made contact with him and he is excited about when the Bolls move
to Mississippi. Pray for the Bolls as they minister to him and
September 13, 2011 – It's a little odd to see a
man riding atop a camel talking on his cell phone. New technology
over the last several years has presented challenging new possibilities
and many avenues for ministry. Pray for wisdom in best ways to
utilize this new technology to spread the Gospel among the Zerma.
September 14, 2011 – Don and Teresa seem to be
adjusting to a very different schedule - thank you for your prayers.
In August the Bolls were able to attend a children's camp in Southern
Arkansas. Most of the children and all the staff became very interested
in missions and the work done in other parts of the world. At the
end of the camp 7 children accepted Christ. Praise the Lord!
September 15, 2011 – Thank you for your prayers
for Teresa as she works as a volunteer Chaplain in a hospital.

Although it is quite different than Ouallam, the folks that are
in the hospital are very appreciative of a visit and prayer.
September 16, 2011 – The Bolls have been able to
visit and share with various churches, and have very few "open

attend 2 special Bible Studies during this month. Praise the Lord
for a time of fellowship and study with other women that love the
Lord and want to know more about Him and how to better serve Him.
September 21, 2011 – This is the time of year
when many families struggle as food supplies have run out and crops
are not quite ready for harvest. Food prices in the markets are
very expensive. Pray for those who lack sufficient food, that their
physical needs would be met.
September 22, 2011 – Lord, thank you for the gifts
of each part of your body called the church. Help each of us embrace
the different gifts that you give us and learn how to work together
as a body with one purpose (1 Corinthians 12:18-20).
September 23, 2011 – Join us in praying for the
university students that Emily is in relationship with so that
they discover where their true significance and identity are rooted
- in relationship with Jesus.
September 24, 2011 – Young men in FADA’s
in the city are searching for ways to make a living and to have
lives that make a difference. Lord, help us know how to equip these
men with the truth and specific skills that are needed to live
the lives you have intended for them.
September 25, 2011 – Pray for spiritual leadership
among the Zerma believers. Ask God to rise up leaders with a desire
to know Him and who will be bold in sharing their faith. Ask God
to strengthen and teach pastor Amadou and his wife as they lead
the church in Goudel; revealing to him specific teachings from
Acts that this young congregation needs to understand as he works
through the book of Acts with us.
September 26, 2011 – Pray for Phil and Kimberly
as they are filling in for Mark and Deanna Ledlow. Pray that they
would balance their time and energies well. Pray for Mark and Deanna
as they are on stateside assignment until January. Pray for their
safety as they travel many miles on the roads to speak in churches
and spend time with family. Pray that their medical check-ups would
go well and that they would have opportunities for rest and renewal.
September 27, 2011 – As our urban team works to
discover what different organizations and churches are currently
doing in the city, ask God’s Spirit to reveal His wisdom
in how to build healthy relationships with each of these groups
of people in the city.
September 28, 2011 – Pray for our children in
school that they will be bold witnesses for Christ and be peacemakers
in their relationships. Caroline Cain is a senior this year; Caleb
Cain and Rachel Sustar have started middle school. They are both
in the seventh grade. Christin Sustar is in the sixth grade and
Karis Sustar is in the third grade.
September 29, 2011 – Pray for connections to be
made in the “G” neighborhood of Niamey between the

your followers, courage to obey each word that you give us and
to influence others to do the same.
Thank you for joining us at the throne of God.
